  Safe and Sound Fire & Rescue Service offer first response fire cover for a large variety of different outdoor events, no matter what the size.

  We provide a service tailored to your needs; no two events are the same, which is why we are happy to adapt our services to suit your needs. Before providing cover at any event we will conduct a Dynamic Risk Assessment to ensure that the service we provide is correct for your event.

  We can also provide limited First Aid cover in addition to our other duties.

  At Safe and Sound Fire & Rescue Service we pride ourselves on our ability to assist at all manner of events including Military Re-enactments, Race Meetings, Firework Displays and virtually anything else you can think of! Do not hesitate to contact us about your event!

  Below are some of the many duties we are willing to undertake:

Fire Training:
  We are capable of fire training. We use our equipment to teach people to use fire extinguishers and about fire prevention.

Fire Protection:
  We offer fire protection for all manner of events, from just a few hours cover (such as a fireworks display) to over a weeks cover (such as music festivals).

Television and Film Work:
  Be it on set as extras or behind the scenes providing fire cover, we are available for all manner of work. As well as fire fighting, we can also provide special effects, such as rain or flooding! Our unique relationship with The Manston Fire Museum also gives us access to their appliances, meaning that should you need a vintage appliance, complete with crew in corresponding uniform, we can provide it. Dust Suppression:
  In the summer many events suffer from the effects of dust, we can help to prevent this, without creating the usual muddy pools!

Flood Pumping:
  Flooding is unfortunately becoming a common problem in the UK, but to minimise damage, we can provide pumps and crews to rapidly move large volumes of water.

Water Supply:
  It is often very difficult to obtain water for many events, but we can provide this, whether for Steam Engine Shows, industrial or agricultural use we can move large volumes of water to virtually any area.

Wedding and Corporate Hire:
  Why have a Rolls Royce when you can have a fire appliance? We can also provide fire appliances for purposes such as advertising campaigns!
